Her height, and experience help with her amazing attention to detail for interiors, and her professionalism seals the deal. Her favourite part of the job? Travelling up and down the gorgeous Garden Route coastline as a perk. See some of her work below…
Luxury Apartment | V&A Waterfront
This apartment was a stunning two bedroom in the V&A Waterfront, and an absolute cinch to shoot. Everything inside was really beautiful and well-styled meaning that it is just a matter of framing the shots and getting the light right.Take a look to see what we mean.
Southern Suburbs | Cape Town
This home is situated in the leafy southern suburbs, while you might easily mistake yourself for being in the middle of a nature scene. We so appreciated how nature was brought into this home. It not only allowed for unique shots but enabled us to produce meaningful imagery.
Upper Newlands | Cape Town
This Newlands home is a precious gem and one that has produced fascinating photographs. This property has countless locations for entertaining guests as well as the warmth of a farm kitchen, the intrigue of a secret forest and much class.
Higgovale | Cape Town CBD
Ideally located in the distinguished Higgovale suburb of Cape Town’s City Bowl, this home has breathtaking views from right under Table Mountain. Photographing the outdoors from indoors is always an experience to enjoy, and not that easy for the photographer to get right with such high contrast in light.
Jeffrey’s Bay | Eastern Cape
Located in Jeffery’s Bay in the Eastern Cape, this luxury boutique hotel finds itself in one of the world’s surfing hot spots! Varied interior design, unique prints and great views it provides a wonderful location for a fantastic family getaway. Click through to see how Tessa managed to capture this holiday home from heaven.
East London | Eastern Cape
This unique lodge is situated in the Eastern Cape town of East London. It provides a colourful photographic canvas with unique design, out-there themes and something for everyone. A number of international visitors conclude their Garden Route trip in Port Elizabeth, however, this lodge begs an excuse to venture further along our coast to East London.
Yacht in Anchor | Cape Town
Located on the ocean (as one would expect!), this yacht was shot at the Cape Town harbour. Yachts are ideally shot when the sun is shining and the ocean is calm, just as we managed to capture it in this shoot.
Clifton Beach | Cape Town
Located on the edge of the Atlantic, this Clifton home is a glorious retreat for friends and family from bustling city life. This shoot included multiple water shots, what with two swimming pools and ocean views from almost everywhere you stand in the home, you would expect it!
THE LONG READ
Take a break from all the images and read about some other shoots we’ve done
We would love to showcase all the images we have ever taken but that will take far too long! So we hoped the above is enough for you and if it wasn’t then you can browse through over a hundred blog entries detailing our lengthy travelogue across the country and beyond. Asia, Europe, Africa, the Americas… we have done it all. Last places to visit for photography include: Antarctica, South America, & Iceland!

Mountain Lodge | Klein Karoo
Would you believe that in under an hour’s drive north from Port Elizabeth you could be at the gate of a farm in the Karoo? Well, you can and, better than that, you can stay at this mountain lodge. We spent a day up here taking photos of two of the accommodation options.
Guest House | Port Elizabeth
Pebbles is a fantastic B&B in the idyllic Schoenmakerskop area of Port Elizabeth. Much like Hermanus, Scarborough, or Franschhoek this seaside suburb tricks you into thinking you are well away from the city. You would be forgiven for thinking you’re not.
Tamodi Lodge | The Crags
An exquisite boutique hotel situated in The Crags – just outside of Plettenberg Bay – Tamodi Lodge is a stunning and secret gem with breathtaking views. Shot in pouring rain, the forests seem greener, and the light much softer. Added to that, the staff were so lovely to work with.
Guest Lodge | Nelspruit
This wonderful guest lodge in Nelspruit was a fun, quick project on the way into the Sabi Sands and Kruger Park. It was interesting seeing what could be done in under an hour of fading light, but what provided even more pressure was the enticing smells of dinner!
Eden’s Touch | Knysna
Eden’s Touch is a small farm encompassing seven or so log cabins for city dwellers to escape to the “countryside”. When you’re there you wouldn’t believe the N2 is a mere five minutes away! We spent an hour here doing one of the more relaxing shoots to date.
Brookes Hill | Port Elizabeth
Right on the beachfront in downtown Port Elizabeth, this holidaymakers dream lies, waiting for you to sit on their grass and soak in their unhindered view The client was super hospitable, easy to work with, and his team really helped style the rooms to perfection.
Long Street | Cape Town CBD
This apartment in Cape Town’s CBD had one of the best (or close to) views I had experienced in Cape Town. Beauty in all directions and such a treat to watch the whole story of the life of the sea. Of course, the home was stunning, as per usual with such lovely apartments.
Paradyskloof | Stellenbosch
A large, well-maintained home this family abode was the scene for our first shoot out that way. The owners were looking to sell and emigrate to Germany and spent an awful lot of money on flowers and other things to make the home look great on the day.
Lemoenfontein | Karoo
On an epic road trip from Joburg, via Kimberley, and through the Central Karoo this was one of the many stops on the way. A real escape from the city life, yet just outside Beaufort West, it has the benefit of seclusion but with the N1 in the far distance. Certainly must return here again one day!
